Babil posted a note to Instagram for fans, announcing his return to work and expressing gratitude. He reflected on the bond he shares with his audience as he returns to filming.

“As I start the 2nd schedule of shooting, I would like to take a moment to let you know that I love you and acknowledge how much your love means to me. I work my bum off so that every second you spend watching me is worth it. Hope to see you from your screens very soon (sic),” he wrote.

Although the project’s details have been kept under wraps, his return to the sets marks a significant step in rebuilding momentum in his career.

Babil stepped into the industry with the 2022 film Qala, alongside Triptii Dimri.

In May 2025, he drew attention after an emotional video surfaced online in which he spoke about feeling disheartened with the industry. The clip was later removed, and he also temporarily stepped back from social media.

Over time, the actor has spoken openly about dealing with depression, grief and the weight of expectations following personal loss.
