Celina Jaitly alleges her children are being brainwashed in moving Mother's Day post
Celina Jaitly said in a Mother's Day note that she is being denied communication with her three children during her divorce battle with Peter Haag. The post linked her custody claims in Austria with her domestic violence case in India and her vow to continue the legal fight.

Actor Celina Jaitly marked Mother’s Day with a deeply personal note, speaking about her ongoing divorce battle with husband Peter Haag. She alleged that she has been denied access to her children despite joint custody and existing court orders in Austria.
Her post came months after she initiated legal proceedings against Haag, accusing him of domestic violence, cruelty and manipulation, and seeking Rs 50 crore in compensation.
Recently, the Mumbai Police registered an FIR under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and issued a Look-Out Circular against Haag over alleged non-cooperation in the investigation.
What Celina alleged in Mother's Day post
In a detailed note shared on Mother’s Day, Celina said she felt compelled to speak publicly as she continues to remain separated from her children.
“I have no option but to share these videos. I lost my children the day I chose to leave Austria to protect my dignity, my children, and my brother (sic),” she wrote, alleging that she had escaped what she described as “systematic oppression, isolation, emotional abuse, humiliation and fear (sic).”
She further claimed that despite joint custody arrangements and subsisting orders of the Austrian Family Court, she is currently being denied communication with her three children.
“My children have been moved to an undisclosed location and are being brainwashed against their own mother (sic),” she alleged, adding that she was unable to meet them even during recent divorce hearings in Austria.

The actor also recalled visiting the grave of her late son, Shamsher, during the trip. “The only child I got to hold was my departed angel, Shamsher,” she wrote, describing the experience as emotionally overwhelming.
Celina alleged that she was served divorce papers in September under the pretext of receiving a gift for their 15th wedding anniversary. She added that despite repeated attempts to seek an amicable separation, her efforts were met with coercion, intimidation and demands concerning her premarital assets.
“All I ever asked for was my children and what I contributed to this marriage (sic),” she wrote, adding that she would return to India to continue her legal fight for “dignity, truth and justice.”
About her family and case
Celina married Austrian entrepreneur Peter Haag in 2010. The couple have twin sons, Winston and Viraaj, born in 2012, and another son, Arthur, born in 2017. She has previously spoken about losing her son Shamsher to a heart condition.
In November 2025, Celina approached the Andheri Magistrate Court in Mumbai, alleging domestic violence and cruelty. She sought financial compensation and claimed the abuse began soon after their marriage.
