When Bhai met Didi! Salman Khan welcomed by West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata. Watch

On Saturday, Kolkata witnessed a rare 'didi-bhai' meet as Bollywood's 'bhaijaan' Salman Khan visited West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who is popularly known as 'didi'. The Bollywood star met the CM at her residence in Kalighat.

It was the first time that Salman Khan visited the residence of the chief minister.

At 4:25 pm, Khan arrived amidst high security at Mamata Banerjee's residence. Mamata Banerjee came out of her house to receive the superstar who came in with his entourage. Mamata Banerjee felicitated Khan with a shawl. 

A two also spoke for about 30 minutes. Salman Khan who was in the city to perform with other film stars including Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde, for his 'Dabanng' tour, was treated with mangoes by Mamata Banerjee, said sources. 

While speaking to media outside her house, the chief minister expressed concerns about Salman Khan's security.

"I am worried about Salman's security," said the chief minister after Salman left.
