North India is currently experiencing extremely high temperatures, as heatwave sweeps through the region. Even Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan suffered a heatstroke in Ahmedabad, after which he was admitted to a hospital. Temperatures soared to 48 degrees in the national capital Delhi. Schools in the capital have been shut for an early summer vacation due to the heatwave. The Indian government's National Disaster Management Authority released a set of guidelines for citizens to follow during the heatwave.
