Chennai man allegedly kills influencer wife, dies by s**cide

A 52-year-old man allegedly hacked his wife, an Instagram influencer with over 3 lakh followers, to death before dying by suicide at their home in Chennai’s Nanganallur area, police said. The victim, 42-year-old Nagalakshmi, was known for her saree business Sree Sai Silks, which she built through Instagram promotions after separating from her husband.

Police say the incident came to light after the couple’s younger son found both parents dead at home. Investigation is underway.
