Mumbai's 'Jai Ho' musical road triggers noise complaints from Breach Candy residents

Mumbai’s first musical road was designed to promote safer driving by playing Jai Ho when vehicles maintain a specific speed. But residents living along the Breach Candy stretch say the constant tune has become a daily disturbance, with over 650 people filing complaints. Anti-noise activist Sumaira Abdulali has also raised safety and noise concerns, while Shiv Sena leader Rahul Shewale, who conceptualised the project, says the complaints are being examined.
