Kanpur man kidnapped, killed as abductors run away with ransom; India orders hammer missiles; more

The Uttar Pradesh Police on Friday said a lab technician who was kidnapped last month has been killed. The victim's family claimed that Rs 30 lakh ransom was paid for his release in the presence of police.

Meanwhile, India ordered hammer missiles from France amid border tensions with China.
