Is 'diya jalao' call by PM Modi inspirational or tokenism?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday appealed to the citizens to switch off all lights at home at 9 pm Sunday (April 5) and light candles or diyas -- or use the flashlights on their mobile phones -- to mark the national fight against the coronavirus outbreak.

This has raised several questions among the opposition as to why important questions and people's concerns were left unaddressed by PM Modi in his morning address to the nation.
