Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Friday said that the attacks on the Kashmiri students and traders should be condemned and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not said a word. She also slammed Meghalaya Governor Tathagata Roy's "boycott everything Kashmiri" statement after the Pulwama attack and said he should have been sacked immediately.
Speaking to India Today TV, Mehbooba Mufti said that the Meghalaya governor's statement would push Kashmiris towards Pakistan. "The Meghalaya governor should have been sacked immediately, the government has Kashmir in land but they need to win the people, with this attitude one will push Kashmiris towards Pakistan," she said.
