Russia-Ukraine war: Hostomel airport near Kyiv retaken, says Ukraine

The Ukrainian defence minister claimed that Ukraine’s armed forces have taken back control of the Hostomel airport located near Kyiv. The forces have unfurled the Ukrainian flag there.

The airport was bombed by Russia towards the beginning of the war.
