Maruti Suzuki’s after-sales network made a new record of servicing more than 2.84 crore vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki India has announced plans to expand its after-sales network to around 8,000 service touchpoints across India by FY2030-31, as the country’s largest carmaker looks to strengthen customer support amid rising vehicle volumes and evolving mobility technologies.

The announcement comes after the company achieved its highest-ever annual service load, servicing more than 2.84 crore vehicles during FY2025-26. The milestone was supported by Maruti Suzuki’s extensive network of 5,926 service touchpoints spread across the country, backed by trained manpower, streamlined processes and technology-enabled service operations.

Commenting on the achievement, Hisashi Takeuchi said the record service volume reflects the trust customers place in the brand’s after-sales capabilities and acknowledged the contribution of channel partners in achieving the milestone.

He further emphasised that high-quality after-sales support plays a crucial role in maintaining vehicle health, ensuring optimal performance and building long-term customer confidence. According to the company, its strategy has consistently focused on keeping the service network ahead of sales growth, enabling wider accessibility and faster customer support.

As part of its future roadmap, Maruti Suzuki plans to further expand and modernise its service infrastructure with new-age service formats and improved operational efficiency. The company said the expansion will help address changing customer expectations and support the increasing adoption of advanced vehicle technologies in the coming years.

The planned increase to nearly 8,000 service touchpoints by FY31 is expected to significantly enhance Maruti Suzuki’s reach across urban and rural markets, reinforcing its position in India’s automotive after-sales ecosystem.
