Range Rover Sport SV launched in India at Rs 2.05 crore
Land Rover has launched the new Range Rover Sport SV in India at Rs 2.05 crore, bringing a 635bhp V8 engine, bespoke styling and advanced 6D Dynamics suspension technology to the market.

Land Rover has launched the new Range Rover Sport SV in India at a starting price of Rs 2.05 crore (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Positioned as the most powerful and dynamically advanced version of the Range Rover Sport, the new SV arrives as a pure performance-focused flagship and will be the first model from the SV portfolio to benefit from post UK-India FTA pricing.
Unlike the limited-run SV Edition Two, the newly introduced Range Rover Sport SV becomes a regular part of the brand’s high-performance luxury SUV line-up, while undercutting the Edition Two by nearly Rs 30 lakh. Bookings for the SUV are now open across India, with deliveries scheduled to commence from August 2026.
The India-spec Range Rover Sport SV will be offered with a curated Bespoke paint palette featuring five exclusive exterior shades — Green Satin, Orange Matte, Blue Gloss, Violet Matte and Teal Gloss. These are paired with SV-specific styling elements including 22-inch forged alloy wheels, a contrasting black roof, quad exhaust tips and signature SV badging.
On the inside, the SUV gets Light Cloud and Ebony perforated Windsor leather upholstery, an extended leather package, illuminated SV treadplates and a sliding panoramic roof. The cabin also features the Meridian Signature Sound System and the brand’s Body and Soul Seat technology, aimed at enhancing in-cabin comfort and sensory experience.
Powering the Range Rover Sport SV is a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine paired with mild-hybrid technology. The powertrain produces 635bhp and 750Nm of torque, enabling the SUV to sprint from 0-100kmph in just 3.8 seconds.
One of the biggest highlights of the SUV is its advanced ‘6D Dynamics’ suspension setup. The hydraulically interlinked suspension system is engineered to virtually eliminate pitch and body roll, delivering flatter cornering characteristics while maintaining the comfort expected from a Range Rover.
Commenting on the launch, Rajan Amba, Managing Director, JLR India, said, “We are excited to introduce a pure and undiluted version of the new Range Rover Sport SV that represents the ultimate iteration of this high-performance model. We’re seeing a decisive shift in India’s luxury market, where customers now seek high-performance vehicles that combine emotional engagement with refinement and capability.”
