Both the Tiago facelift and Tiago EV facelift are scheduled to launch on May 28, 2026.

New cabin theme with redesigned dashboard

The updated Tiago EV shares most of its interior architecture with its petrol-powered sibling. Tata has introduced a cleaner dashboard design featuring a layered layout and a dual-tone grey cabin theme. Lighter upholstery elements on the seats, armrests and dashboard inserts help give the interior a more premium and airy appearance.

One of the key highlights is the addition of two dash-mounted floating displays, a touchscreen infotainment unit and a fully digital instrument cluster. The revised setup modernises the cabin significantly compared to the outgoing model.

The centre console has also been redesigned and now uses more gloss-black detailing. Tata has repositioned the push-button start switch to the right side of the steering column, while the two-spoke steering wheel now features ‘Tata EV’ branding.

More features and improved practicality

Tata has added a number of convenience and comfort upgrades to the facelifted Tiago EV. The teaser images confirm the presence of rear AC vents and front seatback pockets, improving rear-seat usability.

The hatchback is also expected to offer:

  • 360-degree camera
  • Six-speaker audio system
  • Wireless smartphone connectivity
  • Automatic climate control
  • Connected car features

Speaker grilles mounted on the A-pillars suggest the inclusion of tweeters, pointing towards an upgraded audio experience.

Exterior updates mirror the standard Tiago

On the outside, the facelifted Tiago EV receives styling changes similar to the standard hatchback, although EV-specific details help distinguish it. The front end gets a closed-off grille design along with revised bumpers and aerodynamic detailing.

Other exterior highlights include:

  • LED headlamps
  • Connected-style tail-lamp design
  • New alloy wheel design
  • Rear spoiler
  • Tata EV badging

The styling revisions give the electric hatchback a sharper and more contemporary road presence.

Battery pack and range details expected soon

Tata Motors has not yet announced official powertrain specifications for the updated Tiago EV. The outgoing model is available with two battery pack options — 19.2kWh and 24kWh.

The smaller battery version produces 61hp and 110Nm of torque, while the larger pack develops 75hp and 114Nm. Claimed MIDC range figures stand at 223km and 293km respectively.
