Sensex jumps over 300 points, Nifty above 23,500; Airtel up 2%

Benchmark stock market indices opened higher on Thursday, helped by the Q4 results, with a whirlwind of headwinds such as the falling rupee and rising crude oil prices, amid the failure of West Asia war de-escalation.

The S&P BSE Sensex jumped 391.36 points to 75,000.34, while the NSE Nifty50 gained 148.65 points to 23,561.25 as of 9:36 am.
