The elder Singhania disclosed that he had 'given everything' to Gautam, including the business, and was now living on money that had, by accident, been left over.
In a dramatic description of the family tensions, he described his son as a very arrogant person, suggesting that this was the root cause of the present conflict. He indicated that he expected the dispute to potentially lead to a major legal battle, possibly over succession. His daughter-in-law, Nawaz Modi Singhania, as well as his granddaughters, also figures in this unfolding family drama.
