A stampede-like situation was seen at the Thane railway station in Maharashtra after a massive dust storm and rain caused a delay to the Mumbai local trains by half-an-hour.

The delay during the peak hours has led to the gathering of passengers in large numbers in the railway stations. During the peak hours on Tuesday, a female passenger at the Thane railway station fell under the local train which was halted on the platform. However, other passengers who were trying to board the overcrowded local train pulled her up.
