India Today Conclave South 2017: Vishnu Manchu and Rakshit Shetty talk films, Deepika Padukone and Trump

The India Today Conclave South 2017 saw Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu and Kannada actor-director Rakshit Shetty discussing a range of topics from US President-elect Donald Trump to Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone.

The discussion saw Vishnu and Rakshit speak about Bollywood and how it stole Deepika Padukone from them.

Vishnu Manchu and Rakshit Shetty were part of a session called Awesome Twosome on Day 2 of the India Today Conclave South 2017.

Rakshit Shetty said he gets inspired by renowned Hollywood directors Quentin Tarantino and Akira Kurosawa.

Vishnu Manchu said, among other things, how Baahubali kicked the butt of Bollywood last year, and South cinema was no longer the poorer cousin of the Hindi film industry.
