Fighting Covid-19: How to contain the surge in North India?

Covid cases in some of the northern states have been on the rise. Delhi recorded 6,746 fresh Covid-19 cases on Sunday while 121 more fatalities pushed the death toll to 8,391.

Meanwhile, the national capital has increased the fine for those not wearing masks while UP and Haryana are conducting random Covid tests on commuters coming from Delhi.

And states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh have decided to impose night curfew in the worst-hit districts.

Video: Vijay swears in as Tamil Nadu CM amid roars, chants of frenzied crowd

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders.
