Maharashtra to review guidelines for domestic, international air travellers: Health Minister Rajesh Tope

Given the concern over the highly mutant coronavirus variant, Omicron, the Maharashtra government issued a new circular for domestic and international air travellers. The guidelines cover passengers travelling within Maharashtra, flying from other states, besides at-risk and non-at-risk countries. Meanwhile, the Centre on Wednesday asked the Maharashtra government to revise its guidelines for international travellers to ensure that a uniform standard operating procedure (SOP), according to the rules laid down by the Union Health Ministry, is followed by all states.
