CBSE scanned answer book portal link to be active by 2 pm today after glitch
CBSE has temporarily halted access to its scanned answer book application due to technical issues. The board has assured students that the portal will resume shortly at 2 pm today, and all requests will be processed in phases.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has informed students that the online application system for obtaining scanned copies of Class 12 answer books is currently facing technical glitches.
The issue has temporarily disrupted access for students seeking their evaluated answer sheets for review and grievance purposes.
According to the official circular dated May 20, 2026, a technical team is actively working to resolve the problem. The board has stated that the application is expected to become functional again by 2:00 pm on the same day.
Students have been advised to remain patient while the system is being restored.
PRIORITY FIRST FOR GRIEVANCE CASES
CBSE has clarified that once the portal resumes, students seeking scanned copies for grievance redressal will be given priority access.
These candidates will be allowed to submit their requests first so that evaluation-related concerns can be addressed without delay.
The board has also emphasised that students requesting scanned answer books for reference or archival purposes will be able to access the facility only after the ongoing grievance and re-evaluation-related processes are completed.
WHY THE DELAY MATTERS FOR STUDENTS
The scanned answer book facility is an important step in CBSE’s transparency framework, allowing students to review their evaluated answer sheets. It plays a key role in:
Understanding marking patterns
Identifying evaluation discrepancies
Filing re-evaluation or verification requests
With lakhs of students expected to use the portal, even a short disruption can cause delays in the post-result process.
CBSE ASSURES FULL ACCESS SOON
The board has assured students that the issue is being actively resolved and all applicants will get access in due course. CBSE has requested cooperation from students and reiterated that no applicant will be left out once the system is stabilised.
Officials also clarified that the delay is purely technical and not linked to any policy change. The system is being stabilised to ensure smoother functioning during high traffic periods.
