CONSISTENCY, CURIOSITY AND STRONG SUPPORT SYSTEM

For Aditya, staying consistent over two years was driven not by pressure but by curiosity and the joy of learning. He believes this mindset helped him avoid burnout during the long preparation cycle.

He attributes his success to the constant support of his parents, teachers, and school throughout his preparation journey. His father, a manufacturer, and mother, a homemaker, stood by him as strong pillars of motivation during both highs and lows.

He also credits his teachers and coaching institute, Vidya Mandir Classes, for guiding him through academic challenges and helping him stay consistent during difficult phases. Additionally, his school environment played a key role in maintaining a balance between CBSE board examinations and JEE preparation.

MENTAL STRENGTH, STRESS MANAGEMENT AND COMEBACK STRATEGY

Aditya acknowledges that self-doubt was part of the journey, especially during difficult topics or phases of lower performance. However, consistent guidance from mentors kept him focused.

He stresses that JEE is not just about academics but also temperament:

“JEE tests you in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and temperament.”

To manage stress, he turned to classical music and old songs, which helped him stay calm and mentally refreshed. Daily mock tests further strengthened his ability to remain composed under exam pressure. Even after a slightly below-expected Session 1, he stayed confident and refined his approach for Session 2.

AIMS FOR IIT DELHI AND FUTURE GOALS IN AI

Aditya is aiming for Computer Science Engineering at IIT Delhi, citing its strong academic culture, accomplished alumni, and competitive peer group as key motivations.

While he hasn’t mapped out every detail of his long-term future yet, he is clear about taking one step at a time. His broader goal is to contribute to the field of technology, particularly in artificial intelligence, with this achievement marking the first major milestone.

For future aspirants, Aditya Gupta advises students to stay confident and keep believing in themselves despite challenges.

His journey underlines that success in JEE is not just about hard work, but also about consistency, the right guidance, and a calm, focused mindset. His journey stands as a testament to the power of persistence, balanced preparation, and mental resilience, qualities that define not just toppers, but future innovators.
