Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury hits out at Mamata Banerjee seat-sharing in Bengal

West Bengal Congress chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has hit out at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over seat-sharing in Bengal for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Reacting to reports that the TMC has offered two seats to Congress in Bengal, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury slammed Mamata Banerjee and said he won't go begging for seats.

Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury also said Mamata Banerjee did not want an alliance with the Congress and stated that the grand old party can contest elections on its own in the general election.

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony.
