After a long see-saw battle, results for South Tuipui are finally out. ZPM leader Jeje Lalpekhlua has won from the South Tuipui assembly seat with a margin of 135 votes. Jeje Lalpekhlua defeated MNF's Dr. R. Lalthangliana.

ZPM candidate Jeje Lalpekhlua is currently in the lead in South Tuipui with 2283 votes. MNF candidate Dr. R. Lalthangliana is in the second position with 2110 votes.

In 2018, 83.79% voter turnout was reported in this constituency.
