Suvendu Adhikari vs Mamata Banerjee: Who will win the battle of Nandigram?

After the first phase of assembly elections in West Bengal, now all eyes are now on the battleground Nandigram, where Mamata Banerjee is locked in a high-profile contest with her former protégée and BJP candidate Suvendu Adhikari, that goes to poll on April 1st in the second phase.

Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah on Sunday exuded confidence that his party will win over 26 out of the 30 West Bengal seats which went to polls in the first phase of assembly elections in these states on Saturday. Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee said that "the people's verdict will be evident after votes are counted."

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders.
