Adolescence clinched four awards at the BAFTA TV Awards 2026, held at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London on May 10. Among the key winners, actor Owen Cooper won the BAFTA TV Award for Supporting Actor for his performance as Jamie Miller in the Netflix limited series.

Cooper’s win added another major honour to his breakout run. The 16-year-old was recognised for playing Jamie, a 13-year-old boy who kills his classmate, in the series. Adolescence had already picked up two trophies at the BAFTA TV Craft Awards last month, adding to its strong showing across the awards season.

Cooper has also won the Emmy Award, Golden Globe, Critics’ Choice Actor Award, Gotham Award and Independent Spirit Award for the role. Stephen Graham and Christine Tremarco, who play Jamie’s parents in Adolescence, were also honoured at the ceremony.

The ceremony was hosted by actor-comedian Greg Davies and attended by Severance actor Adam Scott, The Studio’s Seth Rogen and The Celebrity Traitors winner Alan Carr. Dame Mary Berry received the BAFTA fellowship for her “exceptional contribution to television”, while journalist Martin Lewis was given the BAFTA Television special award for his “extraordinary and lasting impact on British consumers and public life”.

In another key result, Prisoner 951 actor Narges Rashidi won in the Leading Actress category.
