Just when the internet was busy celebrating actors Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash’s dreamy proposal on Desi Bling, a cryptic Instagram story by Karan’s former partner Anusha Dandekar added a fresh layer of online chatter.
Soon after clips and pictures from Karan’s on-screen proposal to Tejasswi began circulating online, Anusha shared an Instagram story that read, “I am thanking God. #iykyk.” While she did not mention anyone directly, the timing of the post quickly grabbed attention across fan pages and Reddit threads.

In the latest episode of Desi Bling, Karan proposed to Tejasswi with a giant diamond ring, leaving her emotional. As the proposal videos spread online, several social media users began speculating whether Anusha’s post was indirectly linked to the viral moment.
Reacting to the speculation, one Reddit user wrote, “You may not like the couple, but for you to literally do this on their day is so low.” Another commented, “Why is she seriously so obsessed with Karan?” while a third wrote, “Anusha needs to move on. Holding onto the same bitterness for that long is just exhausting to watch.”

About Karan-Anusha's relationship
Karan and Anusha dated for around three-and-a-half years before ending their relationship in 2020. Between 2016 and 2019, the two also co-hosted MTV Love School, where they mentored couples on the reality series.
In 2021, during an Instagram Ask Me Anything session, Anusha was asked about the reason behind their break-up. Responding to the question, she wrote, “We deserve more honesty, love and happiness... and it starts with self-love. So, I chose me. That’s it.”
In the past, Anusha had also hinted that Karan cheated on her and lied to her during their relationship, allegations that the actor denied.

Meanwhile, Karan and Tejasswi’s romance began during their stint on Bigg Boss 15. Their chemistry quickly struck a chord with viewers, who soon began referring to the pair as “TejRan”. During the proposal on Desi Bling, Karan reflected on the criticism they faced in the early days of their relationship. He said many people believed they would not last beyond two weeks after leaving the Bigg Boss house, with some even calling them “fake”. However, he added that four years later, they had “seen everything” and “been through everything together”.
Karan also called their bond an “imperfectly perfect love story” and said Tejasswi had changed his understanding of love and commitment.
