GST will bring an end to inconvenience being faced by common people: Jayant Sinha

The Goods and Services Tax (GST), which is set for roll out at midnight during a gala event at Parliament, will fulfill the long pending dream of one nation, one tax, Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Jayant Sinha said.  

Jayant Sinha said GST will bring an end to inconvenience being faced by common people as well as the the business fraternity.

Sinha said GST will actually bring down prices of commodities.

The minister also criticsed the Congress for boycotting the GST launch event at Parliament, saying the Opposition party is just playing politics at a time when it should have been supporting the historical move.
