The debate highlights that while celebrities may normalise later pregnancies, medical professionals advise the best age for a first pregnancy is before 30 due to declining fertility and increased risks of complications. Dr. Rahul Manchanda, Senior Consultant at Delhi's PSRI Hospital, states, "The preferable age to get pregnant for a lady or should I say a couple is between 20 and 30." The discussion also covers the increased risks in pregnancies for older women, including higher chances of miscarriage, Down syndrome, high blood pressure, and diabetes. While technologies like IVF and egg freezing offer options, they also come with their own set of risks and require careful monitoring.
