Christmas treat: Turkey roulade with sage and onion stuffing

Churning a turkey dish for Christmas gets easy with this special recipe. Â
Turkey Roulade with sage and onion stuffingÂ
IngredientsÂ
- Turkey breast – 200 gÂ
- Sage – 1 tspÂ
- Sauté chopped onion – 60 g  Â
- Chopped chicken sausage – 2 Â
- Fresh breadcrumbs – 30 g Â
- Butter – 20 gÂ
For sauceÂ
- Chicken or turkey stock – 150 mlÂ
- Butter – 20 gÂ
- Refined flour – 20 g Â
- Dry white wine – 150 ml Â
- Roughly chopped onion, garlic, carrot, celery – 150 gÂ
AccompanimentsÂ
- Broccoli – 40 gÂ
- Carrots – 40 g Â
- Zucchini – 40 gÂ
- Potato wedges – 90 g Â
- Cherry tomato – 40 g  Â
- Seasoning to taste   Method of preparationÂ
- Take turkey breast and flatten with mallet or rolling pin, seasoned with salt and pepper.Â
- In a bowl, mix fresh breadcrumbs, sage, sausage, onion and seasoning.Â
- Place flattened turkey on cling film or aluminum foil, stuffed with sage. Mix roll tightly, covering all sides by scallops. Place roll in fridge for 40-60 minutes to hold its shape.Â
- For healthy cooking, it can be steamed for 17-20 minutes.   Â
- For baking, preheat oven at 180 degrees; roast roulade on a bed of roughly cut vegetable for 17-20 minutes. Â
- For sauce: In a pan, heat fat, add cut vegetable, toss with seasoning glazed with maple syrup. In another pan, add fat and refined flour, mix well for a while, add white wine, cook for 2 minutes, then add stock and juice from cooking tray. Cook for 6-7 minutes. Â
- Serve succulent turkey roulade with the jus, fried potato wedges and maple glazed toss vegetables.Â
