Chandrababu Naidu's TDP likely to win 17 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra: Survey

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) led by Chandrababu Naidu is expected to win 17 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh, the Mood of the Nation survey by the India Today Group found.

Meanwhile, the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) may win eight Lok Sabha seats, while the NDA and the INDIA bloc may not win any seats in the upcoming elections, as per the survey.

While the ruling YSRCP is expected to secure 41 per cent of the vote share, the TDP will likely get 45 per cent. Similarly, the NDA and INDIA bloc are likely to get two and three per cent of the vote share respectively.

The survey was conducted between December 15, 2023 and January 28, 2024 and hence, doesn't take into account the recent political developments in the last few weeks and consequent changes in alliance arithmetic.
