Zubeen Garg death probe: Manager's house raided, band's drummer arrested

Following the sudden death of singer Zubeen Garg, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) is conducting raids at the Guwahati residence of his manager, Siddharth Sharma. This action comes amid allegations of negligence and mismanagement related to the singer's health. The Assam CID, which has taken over the probe, recovered a laptop and documents from the premises. In a major development, Shekhar Jyoti Goswami, the drummer for Zubin Garg's band who was reportedly present with the singer when he died, has been arrested. According to reports, both the manager and the organiser of the Northeast Festival, Shyamkhanu Mohanty, are currently absconding. The investigation is focused on uncovering any potential mismanagement or financial irregularities connected to the singer's death.
