Samrat Choudhary takes oath as Bihar Chief Minister

The political landscape in Bihar has witnessed a major shift as the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Samrat Choudhary took oath as Chief Minister on Wednesday, marking the beginning of a new era in the state.

While two leaders from the Janata Dal (United) have been sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers. Previously, the Bharatiya Janata Party held the Deputy Chief Minister position under the leadership of former CM Nitish Kumar. The new Chief Minister expressed immense pride in having worked under his predecessor, acknowledging that the former leader's guidance remains a strong inspiration. This transition follows the resignation of the former Chief Minister, who stepped down after dissolving the state cabinet and is now serving as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha.
