K Kavitha quits BRS, alleges being targeted by conspiracies

Telangana Jagruthi President K Kavitha resigned as MLC on Wednesday, a day after being suspended from the BRS by her father and party chief K Chandrashekar Rao over her sharp remarks against senior leaders, including cousin T Harish Rao. In her message to brother KT Rama Rao, she urged him to look after KCR’s health and the party workers.

K Kavitha alleged she was targeted by conspiracies within the party. “I pleaded with Ramanna, saying false propaganda was being spread against me from within the party office. When there was no response from my own brother, the working president, I understood the situation,” she said.

Video: Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu CM amid loud cheers and chants

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders.
