AAP's Palace War: Swati Maliwal's 'Sheesh Mahal 2.0' Attack On Kejriwal

A fresh controversy surrounds Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, with the BJP and AAP's own Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal accusing him of using a lavish government mansion in Punjab. Aam Aadmi Party insists the allegations are 'completely false, fabricated and politically motivated.' The row is over a sprawling government residence in Chandigarh, which Maliwal and the BJP have dubbed a 'bigger sheesh mahal' and a 'seven-star' mansion allotted from the Chief Minister's quota for Kejriwal's use. The BJP has called Kejriwal Punjab's 'super CM', claiming he is living a five-star lifestyle at the expense of the state exchequer. AAP has strongly refuted the claims, calling them a smear campaign and challenging the BJP to produce any allotment letter.

Video: Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu CM amid loud cheers and chants

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony.
