After massive ruckus over farm bills, Opposition moved a no-confidence motion against Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh.

The Rajya Sabha has passed the contentious farm bills amid the massive uproar by the opposition. The bills, farmers empowerment & protection agreement on price assurance and farm services bill passed through voice vote within 10 minutes.

The Upper House also witnessed an absolute chaos. The high voltage drama began after the house decided to continue the session beyond its closing timings which is 1 pm. After which opposition members rushed to the well and opposed the move saying that it is against rule book and demanded that the debate be continued tomorrow.

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders.
