Anil Deshmukh demanded Rs 2 cr to convince Pawar for reinstatement: Sachin Vaze

Suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Vaze told the Enforcement Directorate (ED) that Anil Deshmukh had demanded Rs 2 crore to convince NCP chief Sharad Pawar over his reinstatement.

Sachin Vaze said that Sharad Pawar had objected to his reinstatement in the Mumbai Police force and that Anil Deshmukh had promised to persuade Pawar.

Anil Deshmukh allegedly asked Sachin Vaze to pay Rs 2 crore to convince Sharad Pawar. When Vaze said he was unable to pay the amount, Deshmukh had asked him to give it in due course of time, Vaze claimed.
