BJP demands arrest of West Bengal minister Akhil Giri

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wrote to the National Commission for Women stating that the Bengal minister's act cannot be forgiven. The BJP demanded his arrest over the alleged insult of President Murmu. The allegations state that the minister said, "How does President look". The BJP MP requested the women's panel to 'immediately arrest' Akhil Giri and take appropriate action against him and 'try to dismiss him from the MLA post also'.
