BJP worker's mother, allegedly assaulted by TMC workers, dies

The BJP on Monday claimed that an 82-year-old woman, a party worker's mother who had sustained injuries during an alleged attack by Trinamool Congress workers, died on Monday.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah condoled the death of Shova Majumdar and tweeted, "Anguished over the demise of Bengal's daughter Shova Majumdar ji, who was brutally beaten by TMC goons." "The pain & wounds of her family will haunt Mamata didi for long. Bengal will fight for a violence-free tomorrow, Bengal will fight for a safer state for our sisters & mothers," Amit Shah added in a Twitter post.
