BJP leader Smriti Irani on Sunday alleged that AAP MLAs Mohinder Goyal and Jai Bhagwan Upkar were involved in creating fake Aadhaar cards for Bangladeshi infiltrators.
Speaking to the media, Irani said, “Two AAP MLAs have been implicated in a conspiracy to create fake Aadhaar cards for Bangladeshi infiltrators. Delhi Police has issued two notices to the AAP MLA and their staff, but neither has cooperated with the investigation.”
Irani also criticised AAP leaders for their silence on matters of national security, questioning their motives. “Why are Aam Aadmi Party leaders silent on issues threatening our democracy? Who are these infiltrators seeking to undermine our country with fake voter cards? Why are AAP MLAs not cooperating with investigating agencies?” she said.
She further accused the AAP of supporting Bangladeshi infiltrators, calling the party a serious threat to India’s democratic framework.
