Taking on Congress and Rahul Gandhi popular slogan of 'chowkidaar chor hai', PM Modi said, "You accuse Modi of ruining the institutes of democracy. This is ulta chor chowkidaar ko daante."
He then went on to accuse the previous Congress governments of destroying the Constitution by toppling "100 elected governments. "Indira Gandhi alone had toppled 50 elected governments and now they accuse me of destroying the democracy."
