Congress workers protest against Rahul Gandhi's conviction, several detained

Several Congress workers were detained by Delhi Police on Friday for protesting against the conviction of Rahul Gandhi in the defamation case over the Modi surname remark. Members of the Youth Congress raised slogans outside the Congress office. 

On the other hand, Congress MPs including party chief Mallikarjun Kharge also took out a march at Delhi's Vijay Chowk demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the allegations levelled by Hindenberg against the Adani group. There too, party leaders were detained by the police.
