Days before testing positive for Covid-19, Amit Shah attended Cabinet meet at PM Modi's residence

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who tested positive for coronavirus, had attended Cabinet meeting at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence in Delhi on July 29.

However, all Covid protocols were followed during the meeting.

Amit Shah today informed about testing positive for the virus and urged all those who came in contact with him in the last few days to get themselves tested for coronavirus.

Amit Shah tweeted, "After witnessing initial symptoms of coronavirus, I got the test done and the report came positive. My health is fine, but I am being admitted to a hospital on doctors' advice. I request all those who came in contact with me in the last few days to please isolate yourself and get the test done."

Amit Shah has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.
