Did not send Chidambaram to jail to settle scores: Amit Shah

Home Minister Amit Shah, in an exclusive interview to India Today TV, said that P Chidambaram was not sent to jail to settle old scores. He also said that the CBI, which has been interrogating Chidambaram, does not work under the home ministry.

Amit Shah said, "When P Chidambaram was the home minister, the CBI was not under him. Now that I am the home minister, still the CBI is not under me. The agencies are not run by the home ministry. The two are not connected."
