The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting raids at a property belonging to Malayalam actor Mammootty, specifically Wayfair Films Private Limited, in Chennai. These raids are connected to an ongoing investigation into a luxury car smuggling case. Eight officers, accompanied by the CRPF, are at the property. Additionally, three houses associated with actor Dulquer Salmaan have also been searched. So far, the Enforcement Directorate has raided 17 locations, including properties of vehicle dealers. The case pertains to luxury vehicles allegedly smuggled through Bhutan. Earlier, Dulquer Salmaan had approached the Kerala High Court. "Kerala High Court allowed actor Dalkeer Salman to seek Provisional release of his Land Rover Defender seized in Operation Namco. Customs must decide within a week and the actor can approach the High Court if rejected." This legal action highlights developments in the broader investigation.
