Exposed: Details of 126 shell companies owned by Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi

A day after India Today broke the story of shell companies created by Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi, reliable sources in Enforcement Directorate (ED) have confirmed to India Today that the investigation in this case has gone global.

'During the investigation, it has been revealed that 120 shell companies belonging to Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi were being operated from 17 addresses,' said a high ranking officer of ED to India Today,

'Prima Facie it appears that these companies were created to improve the balance-sheet of these companies so that net-worth can be increased,' he added.
