FIR against Robert Vadra, Bhupinder Singh Hooda: War on corruption or political witch-hunt?

The Haryana Police on Saturday booked Congress leader Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law and businessman Robert Vadra, former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and others in an alleged land scam in Gurgaon.

The FIR against Vadra, Hooda and two companies - DLF and Onkareshwar Properties - has been registered at Kherki Daula police station in Gurgaon, Manesar Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Kumar said.

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony.
