Will pay special attention to human rights, says new Army chief Naravane

Army General Mukun Narawane took over General Bipin Rawat on Wednesday as the new India's 28th Army chief. His predecessor, Gen. Bipin Rawat, is now the first-ever Chief of Defence Staff. The new Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Manoj Mukund Naravane, says the Army's priority will be to be operationally prepared at all times, and has pledged special attention to respecting human rights.
