Ghaziabad journalist murder case: 9 accused arrested, 2 policemen suspended

Nine accused have been arrested and 2 cops have been suspended in the Ghaziabad journalist murder case. Journalist Vikram Joshi, who was shot at by goons on Monday night in Ghaziabad, has succumbed to his injuries.

An FIR has been filed in the case and 4 accused have been booked for murder.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adithyanath has announced Rs 10 lakh aid for slain journalist's family.

The family claimed that Joshi was attacked for filling a complaint against those harassing his niece.

The attack was captured on CCTV. The footage shows goons following the journalist who was with two kids on his motorcycle. The victim was then dragged towards a car and was shot in the head.

Video: Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu CM amid loud cheers and chants

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders.
