Union Home Minister Amit Shah has tested negative for coronavirus today. Sharing this information in a tweet, Amit Shah said his Covid-19 test report has come out as negative and he thanked the health workers who took care of him. Amit Shah was the first Union cabinet minister to test positive for coronavirus. Since then, four other Union ministers have tested positive in India with Ayush minister Shripad Naik being the latest.
The Home Minister tested positive for Covid-19 on August 2 and was admitted to a private hospital in Gurgaon. A team of doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi was also monitoring his health updates.
