India not a rich country, can't afford lockdown, says author Chetan Bhagat | Exclusive

Speaking exclusively to India Today TV on Monday, author Chetan Bhagat said that India is not a rich country and that it can not afford lockdown. "Common people will become poorer this way. India should care about the economy," he said.

Bhagat expressed concern over the declining job situation in the country and asked how batches that are graduating next year will secure jobs. "Should they be solving Bollywood cases or should they spend time figuring how they can get a job?" Bhagat asked.
